Local program helps more than 2,000 people

The BCHA’s Ignite initiative helps vulnerable people regain their self-belief and acquire the needed skills to get back into work. As a charity, the BCHA has been running for more than 50 years.

The Ignite program provides a range of self-development and well-being courses at the St. Swithun’s House in Bournemouth. It is available to people who are over 19 years old, that are unemployed or have lost their job. Ignite was started back in 2010 and has been running for nine consecutive years. Over the past decade it has run 217 courses to help and support people. People can participate in the program by contacting, the program manager, Jaime Clarke on 0120240500, or at jaimeclarke@bcha.org.uk.
