Cherries boss Howe nominated for Manager of the Month award

Eddie Howe has been nominated for January’s Premier League Manager of the Month award, after AFC Bournemouth’s unbeaten start to 2018.

Since the heavy defeat to Manchester City on December 23rd, the Cherries have moved seven points clear of the relegation zone whilst also recording superb victories over both Arsenal and Chelsea.

Stalemates at Brighton and West Ham mean that Howe’s side picked up eight points out of a possible 12 last month.

Howe faces stiff competition for the prize with Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, Carlos Carvahal, Jurgen Klopp, David Moyes and Mauricio Pochettino also all nominated.
